Photography, as in life, has a “before and after” (“antes y después” in Spanish).
Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero. Sometimes!
And as in life, with our cameras and smartphones, we focus on what’s important by capturing the good times. Then we take our images and eliminate all the undesirable distractions (negatives) that prevent us from seeing it’s beauty or even better, we may decide to take one more shot. Once we’re happy, we can take the time to develop, shape and mold our images into the desired result…and the outcome can sometimes be heARTfelt!
The images below are examples of photos straight out of the camera prior to editing, the “before (antes)” and contrasted with the “after (después)”. The “after” images reveal a careful interpretation and aesthetic transformation to unravel it’s complexities and reveal the potency and power of the image.
