We take pictures so people remember…memories in the air…hoping someone will find them and make sense of everything we chose to ignore.
Whenever we look at old photos, the memories in the photograph become our memories as well.

Photo restoration can sometimes be skillful and sometimes expressionistic. It’s not only about the technology and software, but also about the experience, care, judgement and desire to restore a photo into an original that can be appreciated when someone thought the photo was beyond repair. Every photo has it’s own unique qualities and therefore no two restorations can be approached in the same fashion. Originals are scanned at 600 dpi or greater, cropped to enhance the subject, sharpened and de-noised, retouched to eliminate imperfections and distractions and color corrected for printing. Most of these can print 8″ x 10″ without a problem.
